Community feedback for Bayside Council’s upgrade of Carlton’s Tindale Reserve is now open until Monday 5 May.

The reserve design enhances recreation opportunities, offering a vibrant community space where people can relax, connect, and play. A key feature will be a new larger playspace offering a fun, exciting and engaging environment for all ages.

Community feedback is welcome for the Full Reserve Upgrade and Detailed Playspace Design upgrades.

The Full Reserve Upgrade for the entire reserve includes:

• A new larger playspace area, moved from flood-affected land
• Improved accessibility with extra paved paths to seating and picnic areas
• New fencing at the boundary of Cumberland and Short Streets
• Re-turfing part of the existing playspace.

The Detailed Playspace Design specifically for the playspace area includes:

• New equipment for youngsters aged 2 to 12 years
• A drinking fountain
• New softfall rubber surfacing
• New shade sails
• New picnic shelter
• Updated landscaping with all existing trees retained.
